To be honest, I was planning on writing how easily the internet can distract us these days- that was supposed to be the main point. You see, I find that whenever I don't turn on my laptop, I get a lot of work done. However, even if I just turn on my laptop with no particular purpose, I'll somehow end up finding things to do on the internet that lasts for over an hour. Not to mention, after I get off the internet, I don't feel like doing any work anymore- which is not what you should be feeling when the "night is still young" (ie. GET TO WORK NOW)
It's a very bad habit of mine- I guess it's because before being addicted to anime, I've always loved the computer. Hey, I didn't get a high distinction in a computer skills competition without some hardcore practice after all!
Well, I'd be lying if I said I didn't care at all about whether people liked my blog or not- truth to be told, I'm an extremely childish, immature and self-centered person who relies on a lot of other people's opinions all the time, if not also continually starved for compliments.
In fact, there was this one time when I was emailing a friend of mine who moved to Switzerland, and she was like in one reply:
"You write REALLY LONG emails. But don't worry, I like reading them."
...Or something along those lines- this was a very very long time ago. It may have been due to the fact that at that time, as I was an innocent child who would blindly do things and go to great lengths to please others, it was then ingrained into my memory that by writing a lot, people appreciated it, so I should maintain that.
Or maybe it's just simply my ever growing skills in waffling on and on and on, and going off on many many tangents.
But see, this all probably explains why I always end up wasting so much time on the computer, because if I'm on, let's say, my blog, I'll spend ages trying to type up a seemingly interesting blog, and also then spend extra time searching to find the 'perfect' picture.
